Importance Degree of Hard Skills and Soft Skills for Future Phycologists

Abstract

The article investigates the skills set of future psychologists to maintain their competitiveness in modern world. Ongoing research explores the dynamics involved in the development of soft skills as a crucial element for the successful professional endeavors of future psychologists throughout various stages of their higher education training. The phrase "soft skills" refers to a collection of personality traits, social abilities, communication capabilities, personal habits, as well as friendliness and optimism. Additionally, it encompasses individual, communication, and management skills. It is asserted that for effective professional performance, certain categories of soft skills among psychology students, including communication skills, personal effectiveness, management abilities, strategic thinking, and critical analysis, must be cultivated. У статті досліджується набір навичок майбутніх психологів для підтримки їхньої конкурентоспроможності в сучасному світі. Поточні дослідження досліджують динаміку розвитку м'яких навичок (soft skills) як вирішального елемента успішної професійної діяльності майбутніх психологів на різних етапах їхньої вищої освіти. Фраза «м'які навички» стосується сукупності рис особистості, соціальних здібностей, комунікативних здібностей, особистих звичок, а також дружелюбності та оптимізму. Крім того, вона охоплює індивідуальні, комунікативні та управлінські навички. Стверджується, що для ефективної професійної діяльності студенти-психологи повинні розвивати певні категорії м'яких навичок, включаючи комунікативні навички, особисту ефективність, управлінські здібності, стратегічне мислення та критичний аналіз.
