The provisions of national legislation show that the
state policy in the field of prevention and counter action to domestic violence is one of the priorities
of the state and legal policy of Ukraine because,
taking care of the family, the nation cares about its
future, so the study of this problem, taking into ac count all the features of today, determined the rele vance of the chosen topic. Legal regulation of state
policy in the field of prevention and counteraction
to domestic violence is a set of legislative and other
normative legal acts that regulate the activities of
authorized bodies of state power, local self government bodies, non-governmental institutions,
and organizations, as well as the public, in the field
of prevention, detection, and termination of facts of
violence on family and domestic grounds, bringing
perpetrators to the responsibility established by
law.
