Today, English is one of the most widely spoken languages. According to
unofficial statistics for 2022 alone, more than 1.5 billion people around the world speak English as a
native or second language. Of course, in the aviation industry, English is also the leading language.
Therefore, this article will provide information on how to use English as a tool for career
development or employment in international companies. As of March 2023, only one vacancy for a
Flight Planning Manager was found among online job offers in the aviation sector in Ukraine. And
even from an employer from a Ukrainian company, the requirements for candidates include
knowledge of English at the IELTS 6.0 level (including Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate).
