    В статті розглянуто історичні засади інтеграційних процесів у Європейському регіоні в контексті глобалізації. Проаналізовано ключові етапи європейської інтеграції, починаючи з Римської імперії до створення Європейського Союзу. Показано вплив глобалізації на розвиток інтеграційних процесів та виявлено нові виклики, з якими стикається ЄС. The article examines the historical foundations of integration processes in the European region in the context of globalization. The key stages of European integration, starting from the Roman Empire to the creation of the European Union. It is shown the impact of globalization on the development of integration processes and identifies new challenges faced by the EU. the EU is facing.
