    Flight durationand distance have always been and will beoneof the most important indicators ofthe devel opment ofaviation technology. Thepursuitofenduranceandlong-distance flight withoutl and ingdirectly required the questionofrefuelingtheaircraftintheair. Thereasonisthat a significantpartofthefuelisburnedduringtake-off, therefore, toincreasetheperformanceofaircraftdesignedforlongandlong-distanceflights, itisnecessarytoaddandsometimesseveraltonsoffuelintheair. Atthesametime, itshouldbekeptinmindthattheestablishmentofflightdurationanddistanceparameters, althoughitisanimportanttask, isnottheultimategoal. Thepresenceofaircraftcapableofdeliveringlargecargoesatlargedistancesallowsforthesuccessfulexecutionofimportanteconomictasks.
