Analysis of the environmental properties of the components of traditional and alternative aviation gasoline
(National Aviation University, 2019) Boichenko, Sergii; Shkilniuk, Iryna; Pavliukh, Lesia; Babikova, Kateryna; Iakovlieva, Anna; Vinetskaya, Roza
In this article have been analyzed ecological properties of traditional and alternative aviation gasoline. We determine that with reducing of aromatic hydrocarbons in gasoline, saturated with oxygenates; it is possible to improve the composition of aviation gasoline, thereby reducing the formation of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons during combustion. With increasing octane number, the concentration of toxic gases in the exhaust decreases, that improves the ecological properties. Using biofuels leads to improve environmental characteristics.

Biological risks of aviation fuel supply
    (2019) Shkilniuk, Iryna; Boichenko, Sergii
The work is focuses on microbial contamination in refined petroleum products and product handling systems. Uncontrolled microbial contamination in aviation fuels and fuel systems remains a largely unrecognized but costly problem at all stages of the petroleum industry from production through fleet operations and consumer use. A limited amount of oil resource, the introduction of 1CAO and IATA standards, satisfaction of safety and operational safety requirements, economic indicators, financial profitability require a risk- hased approach in aviation fuel supply. The risks and consequences of microbiological pollution of aviation fuels have been identified, evaluated and systematized

Experimental and analytical principles of improving waste management technologies in the technosphere
This article provides research on waste dumps of transport infrastructure in Kyiv, and microorganisms, which are recommended to be used to neutralize petroleum products and solid organic waste, were specifically separated. The essence of the work was the selection of such strains of microorganisms that were able to absorb hydrocarbons from solid, liquid, and gaseous petroleum products without the formation of toxic products. We propose to use the potential of microorganisms, which are characterized by wide adaptation reactions in different environmental conditions, in particular, a powerful synthesis of biologically active compounds. Specifically separated and researched microorganisms-fuel destructors allow the development of cheap technologies for the utilization of diesel and aviation fuel, which is quite cost-effective for oil refineries, transport enterprises, and fuel supply facilities.

    Fundamentals of Chemmotology
(National Aviation University, 2019) Boichenko, Sergii; Yakovlieva, Anna; Vovk, Oksana; Radomska, Margaryta; Cherniak, Larysa; Shkilniuk, Iryna
The manual presents a modern interpretation of Chemmotology science, its role in development of technology and society. It shows that development and promotion of alternative fuels and Chemmotology problems solving are impossible without systematic approach. In addition, having both theoretical part and practical application, Chemmotology science ensures energy and environmental security of the country's economy, rational use of traditional and alternative fuels and lubricants in operation of advanced modern equipment. The manual focuses on the fact that in recent years one of the most important issues has been the ecological constituent of Chemmotology science, which is aimed at ultra-minimization of negative impact of fuel lubricants and technical liquids on ecosystems. It is well-known that transport sector is an important component of the economy that have an impact on the development and prosperity of the population. Efficiency, reliability of operation of transport, rational use of operating materials depends on their correct selection. According to its quality performance materials must conform to both the model and operating conditions of transport means. The use of poor quality fuels and lubricants leads to a decrease in the durability and reliability of machinery and machine parts; the use of materials of higher quality than required causes unreasonable increase in costs. Thus, knowledge of the range of fuels and lubricants, its functional purpose, operational properties allow using them correctly and efficiently. The authors tried to integrate and systematize in the presented manual the knowledge of many experts from different countries to characterize main trends in the development of conventional and alternative fuels and lubricants, its modern assortment and tendencies in development.

Identification and assessment of biological risk of aviation fuel supply
(National Aviation University, 2019) Shkilniuk, Iryna; Boichenko, Sergii; Kondratiuk, Tetiana; Shevchuk, Nataliia
The work is focused on microbial contamination of refined petroleum products and fuel systems of vehicles and means of operation and storage. A limited amount of oil resources, the introduction of ICAO and IATA standards, satisfaction of safety and operational safety requirements, economic indicators, financial profitability, require the risk-based approach in aviation fuel supply. The risks and consequences of aviation fuels microbiological contamination, impact of it on fuel quality and chemmotological reliability of the aviation engineering, have been identified, evaluated and systematized during research.
