    Image Depth Detection System
(National Aviation University, 2022-11-28) Vasylenko, M. P.; Sych, O. S.; Василенко, Микола Павлович; Сич, Олексій Сергійович
The article will be intended to explain the Image Depth Detection System, which in turn should perform all the necessary functions for detecting objects on a 3D scene, obtaining information about the sizes of bodies, and determining distances to certain bodies. Since such systems already exist in the modern world, the main goal was to create a model that meets the requirements regarding price-quality, since systems of this type currently on the market have a high cost price. Also, the improvement of the method of determining the depth of the image in this system was created thanks to the analysis of filtering methods available in the Matlab environment. An analysis of operation in different conditions of use, i.e. in the presence of external disturbances, such as daylight on the street, has been created.

Individual Mobile Navigation System of Way Counting
(National Aviation University, 2022-11-28) Vasylenko, M. P.; Василенко, Микола Павлович; Lazarevskiy, O. A.; Лазаревський, Олександр Андрійович
The problem of step counting has been considered for personal navigation while walking and using mobile sensors with low accuracy. Three primary approaches to computing the acceleration vector magnitude in time domain have enabled step counting. When analyzing data from mobile phone sensors for various pedestrian kinds, environmental factors, and their mobility patterns, several methodologies were compared. Except for the approach of normalized auto-correlation based step counting, which only processes short distances, the walking trajectories have been chosen to be long enough (at least 100 meters) to produce statistically representative results. The specifications for a specific step counting system have been developed.

    MICROELECTROMECHANICAL SENSORS AUTOMATED TESTING SYSTEM
    («Освіта України», 2017-09) Vasylenko, M. P.
Designed system for microelectromechanical sensors testing before use them in the unmanned aerial vehicle navigation systems. System allows to perform fully automated tests of microelectromechanical gyroscopes, accelerometers, pressure and magnetic field sensors that include determination of errors, comparison with allowable values from sensors documentation and, depending on the result, calculation of calibration coefficients if necessary or marking the sensor as faulty. Such automated testing allows to reduce time, required for manual testing and allows to remove human factor in test results. Experimental results shows that designed testing equipment allows to calibrate microelectromechanical sensors without necessity of performing test flights that reduces the risk of unmanned aerial vehicle damaging in case of significant measurement errors.

SAFETY ENHANCEMENT ALGORITHMS OF THE MICRO-UAV PILOTING
    (Київ «Освіта України», 2018-06) Tupitsin, N. F.; Vasylenko, M. P.
The article is devoted to algorithms development of piloting with enhanced safety for micro-UAV. The critical situations arising during the flight, typical failure of the electrical equipment of the ground station communication from the unmanned aerial vehicle and the radio equipment of the unmanned aerial vehicle are taked into account. Also, the synthesis of the unmanned aerial vehicle emergency landing algorithm is held. The technical realization of the emergency landing algorithm is realized on the basis of micro-UAV PD-1900. Beside, the safety enhancement algorithm of the micro-UAV piloting is developed.

Smart Leakage Monitoring System with Blynk IoT Integration Using Arduino
    (Київ «Освіта України», 2019-03) Krasnikova, K. S.; Kopaniev, V. A.; Vasylenko, M. P.
The article is devoted to the solution of the current problem of leaks in pipelines and minimizing their consequences. A practical experiment of wireless monitoring and control of an intelligent microgrid prototype was carried out, which was implemented using various communication protocols based on technical requirements, such as security, data rate, coverage area and program type. The prototype can be implemented using different communication protocols based on technical requirements such as security, data rates, coverage area and type of application. This article presents a methodology for the application of the Smart Water technology to detect water leakage. Analysis of real-time data has allowed the verification of water balance and the estimation of water losses level in the network. This data analysis methodology provides the capability to detect the pipe bursts quickly, thereby reducing the runtime of leakage.

TELEMETRY SYSTEM OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
    (Київ «Освіта України», 2018-09) Vasylenko, M. P.; Karpyuk, I. S.
The article is devoted to the design of unmanned aerial vehicles telemetry system software based on MAVLink protocol. Telemetry systems are necessary for most of the unmanned aerial vehicle types even with small operating range to inform operator about restricted areas and battery charge. More advanced unmanned aerial vehicles must also report piloting and navigation parameters, route details and current task progress parameters. It requires unmanned aerial vehicle to use special hardware and software equipment so it is necessary to make it energy effective. This problem can be solved using package data transmission protocols.

    Visual Object Recognition System
(National Aviation University, 2022-11-28) Vasylenko, M. P.; Haida, M. V.; Василенко, Микола Павлович; Гайда, Максим Володимирович
This article introduces the problem of object detection and recognition. The potential mobility of this solution, ease of installation and ease of initial setup, as well as the absence of expensive, resource-intensive and complex image collection and processing systems are presented. Solutions to the problem are demonstrated, along with the advantages and disadvantages of each. The selection of contours by a filter based on the Prewitt operator and a detector of characteristic points is an algorithm of the system, developed within the framework of object recognition techniques. The reader can follow the interim and final demonstrations of the system algorithm in this article to learn about its advantages over traditional video surveillance systems, as well as some of its disadvantages. A webcam with a video frame rate of 25 frames per second, a mobile phone and a PC with the Matlab2020 programming environment installed (due to its convenience and built-in image processing functions) are required to illustrate how the system works.
