    Assessment of the wildfires impact on the ecosystems of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone

    In the thesis "Assessment of the wildfires impact on the ecosystems of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone" the following methods were used to write it: comparison, generalization, descriptive, analytical, and calculation methods. The aim of this work - overview and assess the impact of wildfires on the environment components. Among the main results are a comparative analysis of wildfires within the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone for various components of the ecosystem, the calculation of environmental and financial damage from fires on the example of April 2020. Based on the analysis and review of the literature, the main causes of wildfires were identified. The current state of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, Chornobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve were studied from the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster itself as well as wildfires.
