The authors argue that traditional paper-based systems reduce efficiency, while electronic document management and corporate content platforms ensure better coordination, mobility, and security of data. A key focus is placed on knowledge management, which integrates structured databases and tacit employee expertise to improve collaboration, innovation, and organizational productivity. The article highlights HCL Domino as a secure, scalable platform for automation, collaboration, and application development, featuring document-oriented databases, user management, and built-in communication services. Additionally, ClevaDesk is presented as a tool that extends Domino’s functionality by enabling rapid web application creation, real-time data validation, collaborative editing, and integration with external systems.
