Abstract

The irresistible desire of a specialist to remain competitive in the modern labor market actualizes the need to implement the tasks of professional training and retraining and continuous updating of competencies. A severe threat to the state’s economic security is the unwillingness of a modern specialist to adapt to changes in the surrounding world since the pace of these changes is relentless. A competitive modern specialist is quite aware that in today’s changing conditions, basic professional education cannot provide a person with an appropriate set of knowledge, skills, and abilities for a full-time work activity. Непереборне прагнення фахівця залишатися конкурентоспроможним на сучасному ринку праці актуалізує необхідність реалізації завдань професійної підготовки, перепідготовки та безперервного оновлення компетентностей. Серйозну загрозу економічній безпеці держави становить небажання сучасного фахівця адаптуватися до змін у навколишньому світі, оскільки темп цих змін є невпинним. Конкурентоспроможний сучасний фахівець добре усвідомлює, що в умовах постійних змін базова професійна освіта не здатна забезпечити людину належним обсягом знань, умінь і навичок для повноцінної трудової діяльності.
