Rethinking about right of people to self-determination under the new condition

Abstract

On July 16, 1990, the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic adopted the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Ukraine, which defined the foundations of the state, political, and economic system and emphasized the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. The declaration proclaimed the state sovereignty of Ukraine as supremacy, independence, completeness and indivisibility of the power of the Republic.
