Adaptive method of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) driving in an obscure environment

In our country, despite difficult economic and geopolitical conditions, the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is taking place as part of the development of domestic aviation. All over the world, this area is being actively developed, and it has definitely been supported by domestic researchers. Unmanned systems are being actively developed in the geodesic, agro-industrial and aerospace industries, used in everyday life and have many prospects for their practical application. Researcher`s interest in this area has made it possible to achieve certain results in a short time, but there are still many unresolved issues. One important area of research is the problem of adapting the autonomous UAV to the external environment. The task is much more complicated if the UAV flies at low altitudes above a complex terrain. In other words, the external environment is unknown or little known and can change dynamically. These are current scientific and practical challenges that need to be addressed. Challenges and threats for Ukraine airports caused by the global pandemic

Today the world has changed. Unpredictable and rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has completely shattered all the plans and strategies that have been built up over the years. The tense pandemiological situation in the world, state restrictions and the closure of borders between countries to counter the spread of the virus has directly affected the global and domestic aviation industries. And the temporary suspension of airlines and air infrastructure, caused by a sharp drop in passenger traffic, has led not only to the bankruptcy of airlines and massive staff reductions, but also to global changes in the services of the aviation industry as a whole. According to the results of the economic analysis "Impact of COVID-19 on the airport business" conducted by the Airport Council International (ACI), the situation is disappointing for the global aviation industry. In particular, the airport sector expects a reduction in passenger volume by 59.6% in 2020 compared to the initial projected baseline to COVID-19 and a reduction in passengers by 58.4% compared to 2019. This is equivalent to a decrease of 5.6 billion passengers per year.
Development of multimodal transportation in Ukraine

The development of multimodal transportation is a promising area for the development of Ukraine's transport system, as it allows to significantly increase the volume of transportation through its territory with the participation of national transport companies, helping to increase the country's competitiveness in the global transport services market. I believe that the fastest implementation of the concept of multimodal transportation should become the basis of Ukraine's state policy in the field of transport and infrastructure. Ukraine's economy has long been focused on working with CIS countries, and as a result, we have almost no necessary container transportation infrastructure, which lead us to complication of multimodal transportations. Currently, there is a process of reorientation of freight flows, but there are risks of remaining a gray area in the international container network due to lack of government policy and lack of developed infrastructure. So to solve this problem. First of all, improving the regulatory framework and establishing funding mechanisms. The statistics mentioned above best show that we should follow the example of European countries. Therefore, in this case we are talking about the bill "On multimodal transport", which was developed in accordance with the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU and the Government's priority action plan.

International transport services include not only the transportation activity itself, but also a number of related operations (delivery of cargo to the nearest cargo terminal - port, railway junction, etc.; loading, reloading, unloading of transported goods or baggage; temporary storage at intermediate points, re-issuance of documents, and sometimes insurance). The costs associated with paying for mainline modes of transport and related operations are the transport costs of the cargo owner. The company that owns the goods and the carrier companies participate in the international transport process, which conclude a contract of carriage between themselves.
Iinfluence of coronavirus pandemic on ukrainian aviation industry

Quarantine and prohibition of international air passenger transportation left airlines without main source of income, forcing them to fire their workers and use the reserve recourses so as not to go bankrupt. Particularly Ukrainian companies suffer big loses, due to critically small number of passengers, ban for lots international scheduled flits to European countries. In Ukraine in 2020 loses of airlines, airports and connected industries will be about 1.3 milliards of dollars. 80000 works can lose their jobs. The aviation industry has shrunk its costs as closely as it could in order to survive this difficult period.

Autonomous vehicles are an industry, which rapidly develops and it influences numerous spheres of our life: logistics, economy, service sector. In logistics, autonomous vehicles are very promising, as large companies have a great need for truck drivers. Self-driving trucks can solve this problem. The drivers will not lose their jobs but will help to develop this branch. They will be like the captain of an airplane, intervene in critical situations.

In April 2020, the IMF was forced to radically revise its forecasts for the development of the world economy. “The world has changed dramatically in the three months that have passed since the release of our last edition,” says the emergency issue of the report “World Economic Outlook: The Great Self-Isolation”. IMF estimates, the world economy to face the greatest fall since the Great Depression of the 1930s. The total loss of world GDP as a result of the so-called "Great Self-Isolation" could reach, according to the IMF, $ 9 trillion. International experts emphasize that the current crisis is unlike any previous crisis in history for several reasons.
Improving supply chain planning

In recent years, the interest of scientists and practitioners in the problems of logistics has been growing. The globalization of the market of goods and services, as well as global changes in information technology, require ensuring the clarity of physical supply flows as a necessary condition for the mandatory continuity of business processes. The methodological apparatus of logistics has proved the universality of its use in streamline process optimization in all areas of the national economy. Integrated logistics planning helps to increase the economic sustainability of companies in the market due to logistical coordination, which allows to find compromises between the functional units of the company and ensure its integrated interaction with the external environment.
Information support of the supply chain modeling process

The widespread penetration of logistics into the economy has been made possible in large part by the computerization of material flow management. Continuous improvement of quantitative indicators of microprocessor technology (speed, memory, ease of communication with a computer, cost) provided a qualitative opportunity to integrate various participants in logistics processes into a single system, exceeding the traditional boundaries of enterprises and reaching national and international boundaries. However, in such integrated systems the requirements of operational management of material flows are actualized, which means the need to ensure parallelism in time of material and information flows, i.e. to ensure the collection, processing and transmission of information in real time. The creation of multi-level automated material flow management systems, although it requires significant costs for software development and database formation, on the one hand, should ensure the versatility of the system, and on the other - a high level of integration of all supply chain participants

Growing customer requirements and needs, progressive globalization and increasing pressure from market rivals are pushing modern businesses to integrate into supply chains. This solution leads to greater specialization as a result of the division of tasks between the individual members of the chain, reduced operating costs, risk sharing, benefits and information related to the actions taken, as well as the integration of actions and effective cooperation in order to better serve the end customer and gain a competitive advantage. The formation of a market economy in Ukraine, the search for and improvement of new forms of management determine the urgency of the problem of increasing the competitiveness of enterprise products. A significant role in increasing competitiveness is played by the ability to respond quickly to customer needs, which is possible with clear management of supply chains. Supply chain management is one of the central and important areas of research due to its impact on modern competition between firms in the global economy. To assist managers, the concept of supply chain management has been adopted by many business leaders as an important tool in the development, planning and control of networks of facilities and tasks that are part of many elements of supply chains. Therefore, the analysis of the advantages and adaptation of this concept for modern market conditions in Ukraine is extremely important and promising. New trends in transport logistics

Today, many large Ukrainian transport companies are increasingly beginning to implement new trends in transport logistics for Ukraine to improve skills and improve customer service. There are 5 main trends affecting the development of transport logistics. Taking them into account, the enterprises of the transport and logistics industry can adjust the strategy of their development. Production becomes closer to the final consumer. Recently, there has been a tendency to transfer production capacity to countries closer to the customer's country. For example, China has moved its production to Europe, due to the growth of labor in Europe and rising transport costs in China itself. Therefore, in about two years we can expect the emergence of new solutions for trade routes, including new services and infrastructure. Capacity transfer allows to reduce costs not only for production, but also for logistics.

During the sixty years since the first practical aeroplane flew in 1905, aviation has developed almost entirely as a result of large-scale government defense expenditure in every industrialized country of the world. Defense budgets have paid for practically all air development, because the great bulk of aviation activity has been in the military field, in which spending by the governments has historically always been on a lavish scale. Now, it is beginning to penetrate, to a significant extent, the medium and even short-haul scheduled passenger travel market and is increasingly carrying certain classes of freight over similar stage length. It seems, the most remarkable feature of this development has been that it has resulted from an undiscriminating belief among a relatively small band of enthusiasts in the possibilities of the new form of transport. Despite the fact that aviation industry is one of the most developed, it has some problems: The aviation industry needs regular repairing. For instance, Ukraine has an outdated fleet and, as a result, can’t compete with other countries that have more developed infrastructure. Also, outdated fleets reduce security of transportations of cargo and passengers. Military-political situation between countries influences the aviation industry. For instance, there is a stoppage of aviation transportations between Ukraine and Russia from October 25, 2015 because of an unsteady political situation. As a result, it influences the economy of the aviation industry of both countries.
Prospects for air transport

The passenger air transportation market has the fastest growth rate among all modes of transport in Ukraine. If the development of regional and international transport in recent years is due to the growth of the country's economy and transit traffic, then the volume of passenger transport, increased mobility, development of national international tourism, growth of labor migration and labor activity. In such conditions the problem of an estimation of a condition, features of functioning and prospects of development of those types of passenger transportations which later become leaders in the market is actualized. 4 out of 10 global vehicle halls go through the domain of Ukraine. As per research by the British foundation "Randall", Ukraine positions first among European nations in quite a while of travel. Along these lines, the Ukrainian vehicle and street complex is one of the main in Europe as far as traveler and cargo traffic, transportation and leeway of travel payload, just as the accessibility of principle gas and oil pipelines.
Prospects for the development of air transportation in ukraine

In Ukraine, due to the difficult situation because of quarantine, monopolization processes in the air transport industry have intensified. Due to pandemic, the number of daily flights has dropped many times around the world. Continuation and strengthening of monopolization processes in the air transport industry, led to negative consequences. For example, there will be a decline in the economic and political process, the development of air traffic will stop and airports will lose big revenues. Along with airlines, Ukrainian airports also suffer. The amount of funds of airlines does not allow to ensure the operation of airports in terms of continued quarantine. The aviation industry will not be able to survive this process of stopping without the help of the state. After all, such a large-scale stop happened for the first time in its history.
