The promotion of multilingualism in society influences sociocultural, economic, and educational processes, as well as the convergence of different ethnic groups and the strengthening of their culture and social interaction.

    Features of the Application of the Cognitivecommunicative Approach in the Process of Teaching Foreign Languages

    The cognitive approach is suggested as a cognitive-communicative, cultural, and country studies concept of foreign language teaching. The communicative component of this concept is considered through teaching technologies that should ensure interactive, personal, and motivational communication among students in a foreign language class. The cognitive component involves students' conscious assimilation of cultural and country-specific information and language material. The main task of the teacher is to create an appropriate language environment during classes by actively creating situations of professional communication. This stimulates students to actively participate in dialogues, supports their initiative, and promotes the development of interactive learning skills.

    Sexism in the English Literature

    Language is the reflection of every part of society, namely its culture, traditions, and history; there is no exception for English. The Western world, despite promoting equality and democracy, still upholds the tradition of sexism. Many neutral words have acquired negative sexual connotations in connection with the attitude to women only as objects of sexual relations: tart, slut, harlot, mistress, housewife, lover.
