Item Developing Grammatical Competence of Future Translators(National Aviation University, 2020-04) Kameneva, Natalia; Slivinskaya, Polina; Каменева, Наталия Александровна; Сливинская, Полина СергеевнаThe article deals with problems of developing grammatical competence as an important component of foreign language communicative competence of future translators. This competence is formed primarily through mastering knowledge, skills, abilities and competences in the main types of speech activity: reading, writing, listening comprehension and speaking. Grammatical competence of the translator is determined as the knowledge of grammatical structure and ability to use the grammatical resources of language. The benefits of mastering practical grammar in communicative contexts and сommunicative situations are empathized. The levels of formation of grammatical correctness in accordance with the European requirements for language education are considered.Item Ethnocultural Semantic Components in Forming Commercial Naming(Аграр Медіа Груп, 2019-04) Kameneva, NataliaIt is a well-known fact that commercial names play a dramatic role in attracting new audience. The article investigates two trends in contemporary Russian naming: using lexis with ethnocultural semantic components (e.g. exotic vocabulary, precedent phenomena, and national onomastic elements) and applying creative linguistic techniques. The sphere of commercial naming is characterized by increased linguistic creativity determined by pragmatic reasons. Commercial names appear as a result of this extraordinary linguistic creativity.Item Перевод аббревиатур англоязычных периодических изданий на русский язык(Национальный авиационный университет, 2021-04) Каменева, Наталия Александровна; Kameneva, NataliaСтатья посвящена проблемам перевода сокращений с английского на русский язык. Использование аббревиатуры связано с желанием определенным образом сократить применение языковых инструментов. Автор отмечает, что аббревиатура подразумевает появление в текстах СМИ достаточно большого количества новых слов. В статье представлен анализ способов перевода английских аббревиатур на русский язык.
