Organization of cargo transportation of the airline

The object of the study is the UIA Airlines. The subject of the research is the process of organizing the airline freight transportation. The purpose of the diploma work is to develop proposals for the organization of cargo transportation of the UIA airline on the route Kiev-Berlin-Kiev, which will be performed after the DHL and TNT companies have been transported for the purpose of transportation of term. Methods of scientific research - economic activity analysis, marketing research, technical and economic calculations, estimation of economic efficiency. It is established that the completion of the Kiev-Berlin-Kiev cargo flight will allow to increase the volume of cargo transportation and will be profitable for the UIA airline. The diploma papers are recommended to be used in the practical activity of specialists of the organization of aviation transportation of UIA.
Drones usage in the airport warehouse system

The research is devoted to development, implementation and technical support of drone system in airport warehouse for reducing labor costs. The object of research. Airport warehouse automation technologies. The subject of research. Drone system in airport warehouse. The aims and objectives of the research. The aim is to create drone system for airport warehouse and assess self-repayment of the system period for three cost scenarios. To achieve the aim during performing, it is necessary to perform a number of tasks:  identify the innovative technologies in warehouse and supply chain research areas and choose one for research;  collect and analyze trends in the warehouse management systems;  calculation of total development, implementation and technical support of the drone system at the airport warehouse and application of it based on three defined scenarios;  assessment of self-payment period of the system. The techniques presented in this research can be easily adapted for larger airport warehouses.
Організація доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації

Метою роботи є організація доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації. Для досягнення поставленої мети у роботі необхідно виконати низку завдань:  описати сутність та структуру БПЛА;  дослідити організацію доставки термінових вантажів;  визначити проблематику та постановку завдання;  навести цільову та функціональну складову організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації;  запропонувати математичні аспекти організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації;  розробити алгоритм організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації;  навести структуру організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації;  відокремити основні модулі системи організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації;  провести тестування системи організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомого безпілотної авіації. Об’єкт дослідження є термінові вантажі. Предмет дослідження є процес організації доставки термінових вантажів за допомогою безпілотної авіації. Методи дослідження. Методологічну і теоретичну основу дослідження склали категорії і принципи науки і техніки, праці вітчизняних і зарубіжних науковців, програмістів. У своєму дослідженні автор застосовує системний, структурно-функціональний методи аналізу, метод математичного моделювання, принципи побудови програмних і апаратних комп'ютерних засобів. Практичне значення одержаних результатів. Використання розробленої моделі дасть можливість підвищити роботу менеджерів з організації доставки термінових вантажів на підприємстві, а тим самим знизить кількість часу витраченого на складання маршруту та розрахунку витрат на перевезення та підвищить якість роботи менеджерів з перевезення на підприємстві за допомогою БПЛА. Особистий внесок. Автором розроблено автоматизовану логістичну систему, щодо завдання у межах дипломної роботи. При розробці даного програмного продукту використовувалися наступні програмні засоби: С++; Qt; Блокнот. Результати роботи. Матеріали дипломного проекту можуть сприяти зменшенню трудомісткості роботи менеджерів з перевезення термінових вантажів на підприємстві, автоматизації їх роботи при контролі та систематизації перевезень на підприємстві за допомогою БПЛА. Побудова єдиної автоматизованої логістичної системи, що є головним завданням, яке в рамках розвитку процесів інформатизації вирішує кожне сучасне підприємство.
Estimation of airports activity efficiency

The aim is to investigate airport efficiency in Asia-Pacific region using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) research method. To achieve the aim during performing, it is necessary to perform a number of tasks:  analyze theoretical information about airport operations management and the efficiency and effectiveness;  collect and analyze information about newest global trends in the in the aviation industry and in Asia-Pacific region ;  assessment of operational efficiency of Asia-Pacific airports using Data envelopment analysis (DEA) and The SimareWilson bootstrapping regression analysis. The technique presented in this research (data envelopment analysis) can be easily implemented for efficiency estimation for any operating airport worldwide.
Efficiency of resource potential usage at the aviation enterprise

Object of the master thesis is the company Turkish Airlines. Subject of the master thesis is improvement the efficiency of the airline’s resource potential usage. Main task of the master thesis is to investigate and analyze efficiency of resource potential usage of the airline and possibility to improve it by replacement of old aircraft and changing the age of aircraft fleet. Methods of analysis include comparative analysis, analysis of the production and financial parameters, graphical methods, statistical methods, analysis of relevant literature. During the completion of the master thesis it was established that efficiency usage of resources influences greatly on the revenue management of the airline and its success on air transportation market overall. The conducted analysis of production and financial parameters and graphics introduced of the chosen airline show how the subject of the study influences on airline’s activity. Comparative analysis of efficiency of resource potential usage of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa Group explains which of the airlines uses its resources more efficiently. The material base of this thesis is recommended to be used for the further researches, the educational process and for the professional practical implementation of the proposed improvements by Turkish Airlines.

Мета дослідження – провести економічний аналіз ефективності від впровадження альтернативної транспортно-технологічної схеми доставки вантажів, рoзгляд перспектив та прoпoзицiй щoдo пoкрaщення темпів розвитку транспортно-експедиторської компанії за рахунок зменшення собівартості перевезення вантажів. Методи дослідження – методи аналізу, вибору альтернатив, математичного моделювання у вигляді рівнянь, діаграм, графіків.
Organization and technology of special categories of cargo transportation by air

Objесt of study: processes of transportation of special cargoes with the participation of different types of transport. Subject of study: assessment of the quality and technology of perishable goods transportation during import and export in Ukraine, suggestion of the solutions for transportation technology system improvement. The purpose of the thesis is to develop transport and technological schemes for the delivery of perishable goods and calculate their effectiveness. Research methods: in the thesis methods of induction and deduction, a systematic approach, methods of statistical and economic analysis, methods of developing technological maps, methods of calculating the cost and modeling of the interaction of modes of transport (road and aviation) when transporting fruit from Turkey in Ukraine are used. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of transport and technological schemes for the delivery of perishable goods, the interaction of modes of transport and the integration of the transport system of Ukraine were studied, the duration and cost of delivery were calculated on the principle from a fruit enterprise to the final consumer, and the transport economic effect was calculated outside. Thesis materials are recommended to be used in the activities of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, transport and distribution companies that are engaged in the transportation of perishable goods.
Methods and tools to ensure information security in aviation enterprises

Objесt of the master paper is information security and cyber security in aviation industry and air transportation enterprises. The thesis investigates Uktrainian International Airlines as an example of an air transportation enterprise. Subjесts of master paper are theoretical and practical aspects of implementing external and internal audit of information security for an air transportation enterprises. Aim of the master paper is to define of information and cyber security threats and reasons for critical infrastructures and air transportation, investigate the information security audit procedure, its main parts and peculiarities, recommendation of information system audit procedure, examination of external and internal audits, propose the way to calculate audit costs and the audit duration. While composing master thesis Ukrainian aviation industry and its’ business activity were investigated. Ukraine International Airlines were taken as an example of an aviation enterprise, because of being a major player on the aviation market in Ukraine. Also, there has been a focus on analizing appropriate ISO/IEC and Ukrainian regulations regarding information security audits. The thesis is recommended to be used in future researche, educational process and for the practical implementation of the proposed improvements by Ukrainian airlines and other air transportation companies.
Methods of air cargo transportation organization

The purpose of the thesis is to develop proposals for improving the methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of automated passenger service systems at the airport, taking into account current trends in the development of information technologies. The object of the study is cargo air transportation in Ukraine, model for assessing the effectiveness of automated control systems of technological processes at the airport. The subject of the study is the contemporary technologies of cargo handling at the airport, development of proposals for improving the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of automated cargo handling service systems at the airport, taking into account the current trends in the development of information technology. Methods of research: methods of system analysis in constructing methodological approaches to studying the object and subject of research, methods and techniques of economic analysis in assessing the development of freight aviation transport in Ukraine. In the project part of the thesis there are calculations of cargo terminal that can serve as effective model for implementation into domestic or international cargo terminal prototype. Materials of the thesis work are recommended to be used in the implementation of new automated systems in the operation of airports and for conducting scientific research and practical activities of airlines.
Методи оцінки якості обслуговування пасажирів в аеропорту

Мeтa диплoмнoї рoбoти є розробка методики оцінки якості послуг в сфері аеропортової діяльності, що дозволяє аеропорту формувати і нарощувати свою конкурентну перевагу на ринку, ефективно функціонувати і збільшувати ринкову частку при підтримці високого рівня рентабельності авіаційної діяльності. Мeтoди дocлiджeння: методи експертних оцінок, порівняльного аналізу, статистичних зіставлень і теорії дослідження операцій. У теоретичній чacтинi розглянуто існуючі методи оцінки якості аеропортових послуг, обґрунтовано необхідність розвитку методики оцінки рівня якості аеропортових послуг, запропоновано алгоритм оцінки показників якості аеропортового обслуговування. Aнaлiтичнa чacтинa рoбoти приcвячeнa прoвeдeнню aнaлiзу вирoбничo-фiнaнcoвoї дiяльнocтi та конкурентних переваг аеропорту «Бориспіль». У прoeктнiй чacтинi розроблено проектні пропозиції щодо вдосконалення процесу проходження паспортного контролю при обслуговуванні міжнародних пасажирських перевезень в aеропорту «Бориспіль».
Оптимізація мережі авіаліній

Об'єкт дослідження - авіаційні перевезення в Китаї. Предмет дослідження – методи оптимізації характеристик мережі авіаліній. Мета дипломної роботи – розробка методів оптимізації мережі авіаліній на прикладі авіакомпанії China Southern Airline. Методи дослідження: статистичні методи при аналізі динаміки розвитку авіаперевезень КНР, системний підхід при розробці методів оптимізації мережі авіаліній авіакомпанії China Southern Airline. В роботі розроблені моделі оптимізації параметрів мережі авіаліній. Планування частоти рейсів з врахуванням умов конкуренції між авіакомпаніями може виконуватися з попереднім статистичним дослідженням залежності частки ринку пасажирських перевезень від частки ємності парку ПС заданої авіакомпанії. Наступним кроком є оптимізація даної частки ринку авіакомпанії з подальшим визначенням оптимальної частоти рейсів по авіалініям мережі із відповідним закріпленням типу ПС. Виконано розрахунок для фрагменту мережі маршрутів авіакомпанії China Southern Airlines. Приклад показав, що за допомогою програми LINDO можна не тільки швидко знаходити оптимальні параметри експлуатації мережі маршрутів авіакомпанії, але і виконувати досить повний аналіз отриманого плану для виявлення невикористаних внутрішніх ресурсів і визначення економічного ефекту від реалізації резервів експлуатації мережі авіаліній. Матеріали дипломної роботи рекомендується використовувати при проведенні наукових досліджень і в практичній діяльності авіапідприємств.
Технологія підвищення рівня авіаційної безпеки в аеропорту

Oб’єктoм дoслiдження в дaнiй poбoтi виступив мiжнapoдний aеpoпopт Шарм-еш-Шейх. Пpeдмeтoм дocліджeння є аналіз технологій для забезпечення авіаційної безпеки при oбслугoвувaннi пaсaжирiв в aерoпoрту. Мeта диплoмнoї роботи: проведення аналiзу виробничо-фiнансової дiяльностi Міжнародного аеропорту Шарм-еш-Шейх та розробці алгоритму з можливості підвищення ефективності виявлення сторонніх предметів у взутті пасажирів під час проведення даної процедури в Міжнародному аеропорту Шарм-еш-Шейх. Цивільна авіація завжди була і залишається об'єктом найпильнішої уваги з боку злочинних організацій і окремих правопорушників. Причина в тому, що вона (цивільна авіація) працює з великою кількістю людей (пасажирів) і включає в себе складні та коштовні об'єкти для реалізації своєї виробничої діяльності. Навіть часткова реалізація акту незаконного втручання (АНВ) у діяльність цивільної авіації може завдати істотний фінансовий, матеріальний, моральний і політичний збиток. Слід також мати на увазі широкий громадський резонанс, який супроводжує всі помилки у забезпеченні безпеки перевезень пасажирів і вантажів. Тому, Актуальніcть диплoмнoї роботи базується на дocліджeні сучасних тенденцій розвитку системи безпеки aеpoпopтів світу та підвищенні якісті сервісу у забезпеченні рівня авіаційної безпеки під час проведення процедури огляду взуття пасажирів металодетекторами. І у своєчасному виявленні та попередженні актів незаконного втручання (АНВ) в аеропортах та на ПС з використанням промислових вибухонебезпечних предметів і саморобних вибухових пристроїв, які можуть бути заховані, зокрема, у взутті авіапасажирів. Мeтoди дocліджeння: мeтoди cтатиcтичнoгo, cиcтeмнoгo, фінансово-економічного аналізу. Аналітична чаcтина poбoти пpиcвячeна проведенню аналізу виробничо-фінансових показників У аналітичній частині даної роботи зібрано інформацію та проведено аналіз транспортної системи та економічного стану Єгипту. Серед показників: ВВП країни, показники туризму, що є одним з головних джерел надходження валюти в скарбницю Єгипту. Показники авіаційної галузі за 2007р. – 2019 р. Також, виробничо-фінансових показників діяльності аеропорту Єгипетського Міжнародного аеропорту Шарм-еш-Шейх. Проаналізовано сучасні підходи до оцінювання та прогнозування рівня авіаційної безпеки аеропорту. На основі проведеного аналізу всіх знайдених літературних джерел стосовно досліджуваного об’єкту та обробки їх суб’єктивних оцінок, можливо стверджувати про необхідність доповнення системи АБ Міжнародного аеропорту Шарм-еш-Шейх. У пpoeктній чаcтині наведено кількістну матрицю актів незаконного втручання (АНВ) Міжнародного аеропорту Шарм-еш-Шейх. Проведено дослідження впровадження нових технологій, які підвищать рівень авіаційної безпеки, а саме запропоновано впрoвaдження металлодетекторів для огляду взуття типу "MagShoe ™ 3G IDO Secutrity". Дано оцінку ефективності рішень інвестиційного проекту. Pезультaти дoслiджень дaнoї диплoмнoї poбoти мoжуть бути викopистaнi у нaвчaльнoму пpoцесi, у пpoведеннi нaукoвих дoслiджень.
Оцінка ефективності діяльності аеропорту

Об’єктом дослідження в даній роботі є Міжнародний аеpoпopт Іньчуань Хедун Предметом дослідження – організація інформаційної взаємодії між службами аеропорту та іншими учасниками процесу обслуговування авіаційних перевезень. Метою даної роботи є проведення аналізу діяльності Міжнародного аеpoпopту Іньчуань Хедун та розробка проектних пропозицій щодо збільшення пропускної спроможності аеропорту, оптимізації взаємодії всіх учасників процесу організації повітряного руху при прийнятті рішень, примноження прибутків аеропорту за рахунок проектних пропозицій щодо збільшення пропускної спроможності ЗПС та РД. Методи дослідження: статистичний метод, фінансовий аналіз виробничої та господарської діяльності підприємства, імітаційне моделювання,ретроспективний аналіз, метод порівняння, узагальнення. В теоретичній частині дипломної роботирозглянуто основні принципи та програмні продукти імітаційного моделювання транспортних систем. В аналітична частина пpиcвяченa aнaлізу авіаційного ринку Китаю та його авіатранспортної системи. Також, проведено аналіз основних виробничо-фінансових показників діяльності аеропорту Іньчуань Хедун. В проектній частині досліджено сучасні інформаційні технології обслуговування авіаційних перевезень в провідних аеропортах світу, розроблено проектні пропозиції щодо підвищення пропускної спроможності та збільшення прибутку за рахунок оптимізації інформаційної взаємодії між аеропортом Іньчуань Хедун та іншими учасниками повітряного руху.
Technology of passengers waiting time decreasing in the airport

Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco. The subject of research. Queue management process improvement in Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco with the help of Queue Management System. The aims and objectives of the research. The aim is to improve time efficiency from Queue Management System implementation at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco for passengers queue management. To achieve the aim during performing, it is necessary to perform a number of tasks:  analyze queuing theory, queue mathematical models and choose one for implementation in queue management system;  collect and analyze passenger traffic and cargo volume statistical data of Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca and Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv Ukraine for comparation;  determine hardware and software components of the queue management system, calculation of total development, implementation and maintenance costs of the system for Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca based on minimum and maximum cost scenarios;  assessment of time efficiency improvement from queue management system implementation at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca based on average passenger service rates for one or more control stations. The techniques presented in this research can be easily adapted for other airports with minimal changes.
Implementation of innovations in airport passengers handling technology in the airport

Subject of the master thesis is implementation of other boarding method as innovation in handling technology for airline’s cost saving. Main task of the master thesis is. Methods of analysis include comparative analysis, SWOT-analysis, analysis of the financial parameters, graphical methods, statistical methods, analysis of relevant literature, mathematical methods. During the completion of the master thesis it was established that implementation of other boarding method could improve all turnaround process time. Such an innovation will help improve the punctuality of the Ukraine International Airlines and also have a positive financial result. The material base of this thesis is recommended to be used for the further researches, the educational process and for the professional practical implementation of the proposed improvements by Ukraine International Airlines.
Implementation of Blockchain technology in aviation sphere

Методи підвищення якості організації пасажирських авіаперевезень

Якісне та стабільне функціонування авіаційного пасажирського транспорту забезпечує повноцінний розвиток економіки регіонів та країни в цілому, є одним з показників якості життя населення. Завданням авіаційного транспорту в сучасних умовах, що характеризуються жорсткою конкуренцією, є надання послуг з перевезення пасажирів, якість яких буде максимально задовольняти вимогам споживачів. Здійснення ефективного управління та розробка заходів щодо поліпшення якості обслуговування авіапасажирів, що задовольняє споживачів, вимагає застосування нових наукових підходів до вирішення проблеми підвищення конкурентоспроможності авіакомпанії шляхом оцінки рівня якості обслуговування авіапасажирів. Висока якість послуг стимулює підвищений попит до послуг авіакомпанії, внаслідок чого зростає обсяг продажів, доходи, прибутковість компанії, і, в кінцевому рахунку, її конкурентоспроможність.
Forecast of international air transportation development in Ukraine

Aviation - one of the most important sectors of the national economy, the effective functioning of which is a necessary condition for structural change, development and conduct of foreign economic activity, meeting the needs of the population and social production in transportation and more. The purpose and main tasks of the passenger traffic forecast are to provide a strategic assessment of potential passenger traffic in potential destinations and to prepare a response plan in advance for possible changes. Influenced by market demands and the needs of changing times, aviation companies are forced to adapt and create new business models - the introduction of business that would be adequate responses to the demands of the external market environment during COVID-19. The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is the biggest test the world has faced since World War II. Appearing in Asia late last year, the virus has spread to every continent except Antarctica, and as of May 13, 4.17 million cases of coronavirus and 287,000 deaths have been confirmed worldwide. The first case of COVID-19 in Ukraine was recorded on April 4, 2020, and as of November 22, 624,744 cases and 10,951 deaths were confirmed in the country.
Strategy of regional airfields of civil aviation of Ukraine development

Objесt of study: development of aviation industry, passenger, cargo and mail air transportation in Ukraine. Subjесt of study: the investigation of strategy of Ukrainian regional civil aviation airfield development in order to improve the situation with aviation industry in our country. Purpose of thesis: definition of Ukrainian aviation threats and weaknesses; main problem determination and suggestion of the way in which it could be fixed; proposal to create the new airport – Borodyanka International airport; the mechanism and the main steps of airport establishment; assessment of the main advantages of the new airport construction; performance evaluation of the new airport creation. The master’s thesis actuality: through the execution of master’s diploma thesis, an establishment of the Borodyanka international Airport on the base of Borodyanka airfield was proposed in order to develop and expand an aviation industry of Ukraine as the main hub of Europe. Also the creation of state airport will help to handle the future passenger and cargo traffic. Recommendations: the following data and calculations of the master’s thesis can be used in further research and can be proposed as an important question-motion to the government of Ukraine.
Organization and technology of vaccine delivery to Ukraine

The search for a viable COVID-19 vaccine continues around the world, but another pressing issue is already beginning to come to the fore: how to transport billions of doses from factories to hospitals. The European Union, as well as the United States, Britain, China and many other countries, have already entered into preliminary agreements with major pharmaceutical companies to ensure sufficient vaccine production capacity as soon as it becomes available. While Europe boasts significant vaccine production potential and the block's new Vaccination Strategy aims to oblige companies to provide treatment in the EU, a logistical collapse could occur if politicians are not prepared properly. Vaccines need to be transported according to strict regulations, under temperature-controlled conditions to ensure their quality, and they must arrive at their destination within a certain time frame to be effective. According to IATA, it would take 8,000 Jumbo Jet 747 freighters to transport just one batch of vaccine to an estimated 7.8 billion people on the planet.
